Bottom Bracket Tools Overview
The following provides a general overview of our bottom bracket tools. If you still are not sure, contact us and we’ll help you choose the right tool.
Flat Wrenches:
Bottom Bracket Wrench, Shimano 16-Notch X 44mm: Fits 16-notch, 44mm diameter external bearing bottom bracket cups including Shimano® Hollowtech II, Campagnolo® Ultra-Torque and Power Torque, Race Face®, FSA®, SRAM®, Truvativ®, Chris King®, and Phil Wood® outboard bearing. Also fits disc brake rotor lockrings with 16 external notches. NOTE: Will fit Shimano TL-FC24 and TL-FC25 adapters.
Bottom Bracket Wrench, Shimano 16-Notch X 41mm: New for 2015. Fits Shimano® BBR60 (Ultegra 11-speed 6800 Series) and BB-MT800 (DEORE XT M8000 Series ) bottom brackets.
Bottom Bracket Wrench, Shimano 16-Notch X 39mm: New for 2015. Fits Shimano® XTR BB93 and Dura Ace BB9000 bottom brackets.
Bottom Bracket Wrench, Campagnolo 6-Notch: Fits Campagnolo® 6-notch SC-S and AC-H cartridge cups used on sealed cartridge bottom brackets for the following: Veloce®, Xenon®, Mirage®, Daytona®, and Avanti®.
Bottom Bracket Wrench – Shimano 6-Notch, fits the lockring used on Dura Ace® 7700 and XTR® 950 Bottom Brackets and many other lockrings.
Bottom Bracket Wrench – Shimano 8-Notch: Fits 8-Notch Shimano® Octalink and ISIS Drive® Bottom Bracket Cups.
Socket Tools:
External Bottom Bracket Socket: Fits 16-notch, 44mm diameter external bearing bottom bracket cups including Shimano® Hollowtech II, Campagnolo® Ultra-Torque and Power Torque, Race Face®, FSA®, SRAM®, Truvativ®, Chris King®, and Phil Wood® outboard bearing. NOTE: Will not fit Shimano TL-FC24 and TL-FC25 adapters.
Splined Bottom Bracket Socket: Fits all Shimano® and ISIS Drive® splined 20-tooth bottom bracket cups. Also fits many square taper bottom brackets.
Campy BB and Cassette Socket: Fits all Campagnolo® cassette lockrings and Record, Chorus, Centaur, and Athena bottom brackets.
Press Fit Bottom Bracket Tools:
Headset & Bearing Press: Compatible with all press-fit headsets and press fit bottom brackets*.
Bottom Bracket Bushing Set: Includes ten precision-machined bushings in 6 sizes covering installation of all road, mountain, and bmx press-fit bottom brackets cups and bearings, plus a BB Bushing Spacer for enhanced flexibility, speed, and alignment. Bushings and spacer designed for use with Pedro’s Headset & Bearing Press ensuring precise and accurate installation. Inner diameter of 18.4mm (14mm for 19-37 and 19-41) may fit onto other presses.

Removal Tools: We do not currently offer tools for removal of press fit bottom brackets.
